Cafes in Kyoto
I've been in Kyoto for about three weeks and the cafes, and local roasters, have really improved. There are so many of them. So, in no particular order, here are the ones I recommend:
- Goodman Roaster, nice place, first time with rain outside, just like a lofi cafe, but real
- About us, very nice design in old house, amazing top floor
- Nijō-koya, impossible to find without Google Maps, great ambiance, good coffee
- Coyote Cafe, very good price for cold brew (several choices)
- Weekenders of course, the original, they changed spot, still very good, nice, zen place (though more difficult to enjoy with the people it attracts)
- Kobako Shoten Coffee Stand, nice stand (it was a respite from the rain)
- Iolite coffee roasters, very nice tasting (but I haven't been this time) And so many more still to try...
